PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file download support file server, a file download support download terminal, a file download support method, a file download support program and a recording medium with the program recorded that allow a user to flexibly change information about a receiving method of a file held in the file server in consideration of a situation at receiving the file. SOLUTION: A means employed comprises a personal file storing part FS1 for storing files as download objects, a communication part FS3 for receiving a receiving method of a file from a receiving method designating terminal T, a user managing database FS2 for storing the receiving method received by the communication part FS3, and a control part FS4 for executing control of deciding a file to be transmitted according to the receiving method stored in the user managing database FS2 and transmitting the decided file upon a file request from the download terminal DT.
