Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of stably detecting an abrasion state of a roller cutter over a long period from the excavator body side. SOLUTION: An eddy current type sensor 7 is arranged on a cutter head 1 for detecting a distance by forming a magnetic field 8 toward an edge 6 of this roller cutter 3 from the radial direction of the roller cutter 3 arranged on this cutter head 1, and is constituted so as to detect the abrasion state of this roller cutter 3 from a detecting signal of this eddy current type sensor 7 by a control device 10 arranged in an excavator body 9, and stably detects the abrasion state of the roller cutter 3 arranged on the cutter head 1.
