PURIFYING BLOCK AND MASONRY METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifying block which achieves a revetment function and positively purifies water quality, and to provide a masonry method for the purifying block. SOLUTION: According to the purifying block 1, a front tilting plate 2 thereof is formed so as to induce river water thereto when river water flows therealong, and has an inducing section 7. The front tilting plate 2 consists of a surface plate 2a and an inner plate 2b, and the inducing section 7 is shaped such that a lengthwise central portion of the inner plate 2b tilts toward a rear tilting plate 3. Specifically, the inducing section 7 is progressively curved toward the rear tilting plate 3 from an upstream side 1A to a downstream side 1B of the purifying block 1, and river water passing through the surface plate 2a and the inner plate 2b flows along a surface of the inducing section 7, to thereby induce the river water therein.
