Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting film for glass surface having an excellent initial adhesiveness to a glass pane, manifesting a satisfactory temporal adhesion even in a flooded condition in an edge polishing process after the temporal adhesion, and capable of easily peeling after use. SOLUTION: This protecting film for glass surface obtained by integrally laminating a base layer comprising a thermoplastic resin (preferably a polyethylene) and an adhesive layer, the adhesive layer is obtained by formulating 0.2-5 pts.wt. of a hindered amine compound having 60-150 deg.C (preferably 75-100 deg.C) of melting point and 1,500-2,500 (preferably 1,700-2,300) of molecular weight to 100 pts.wt. of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer including 5-20 wt.% (preferably 8-17 wt.%) of vinyl acetate.
