Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclodextrin-containing phenolic polymer, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This cyclodextrin-containing phenol polymer is obtained by subjecting one or more kinds of phenolic compounds expressed by the general formula (1) (R, Q and S are each independently H, a halogen, a 1-18C alkyl, a 2-18C alkenyl, a 2-18C alkynyl, an aryl, an arylalkyl, an ether, a thioether, an ester, an acyl or a substituted amino) to oxidative polymerization in the presence of cyclodextrin by using an oxidizer with an oxidoreductase as a catalyst, so that the polymer contains 0.01-1 molecule of the cyclodextrin per unit of the phenol.
