METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF PACKAGING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate in a bag-making filling and packaging machine, a film transfer motor for carrying a continuous strip film through a tube forming means to form a continuous tube, a carry-in motor for carrying objects to be packaged at longitudinally equal intervals from an inlet of the tube forming means into the tubular film, and a sealer driving motor for cross-sealing the tubular film at an exit of the tube forming means in correlated speeds. SOLUTION: A reference pulse generation means 31 converts an estimation of a timer 30 into a pulse for sending it to a balance controller 32. The controller 32 operates a film carrying motor 16, a carry-in motor 17 and a sealer driving motor 18 in correlated speeds. A shift in synchronization between at least the two motors 17 and 18 occurring due to a load is picked up as a shift in a rotation angle of respective cams 43 and 44 by error calculation means 56 and 58. In addition, comparison with a reference pulse through the balance controller 32 causes the rotation angles of both motors 17 and 18 to be corrected per pitch.
