Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying a metalloenzyme inhibitor including a matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) inhibitor which is a competitive, noncompetitive or uncompetitive inhibitor. SOLUTION: This method for identifying the metalloenzyme inhibitor includes processes (a) to (f) as follows: (a) a process for forming a first control mixture; (b) a process for forming a second control mixture; (c) a process for forming a first compound mixture; (d) a process for forming a second compound mixture; (e) a process for determining inhibition of the matalloenzyme in the process (c) by comparing activity of the metalloenzyme in the process (c) with control activity of the metalloenzyme in the process (a); (f) a process for determining inhibition of the matalloenzyme in the process (d) by comparing activity of the metalloenzyme in the process (d) with control activity of the metalloenzyme in the process (b); and (g) a process for comparing the inhibition determined in the process (e) with the inhibition determined in the process (f).
