Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily listen to stereo sounds even when a display screen is moved in any direction, by suppressing increase of the number of speakers. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 1 is configured so that an upper case 2 and a lower case 3 are coupled to be folded through a hinge part 4. The upper case 2 is equipped with a rectangular display screen 5, a speaker 20 is provided in the area of a right end upper than this display screen 5 and another speaker 21 in the area of a left end lower than the display screen 5 respectively. These speakers 20 and 21 functions as a speaker system for reproducing stereo sounds. When reproducing stereo sounds in the state of longitudinal use as shown in the Fig., the right channel of stereo is reproduced from the right speaker 20 and the left channel from the left speaker 21 respectively. In the state of lateral use turning to left from the state shown in the Fig., however, the right channel of stereo is reproduced from the right speaker 21, and the left channel from the left speaker 20 respectively. |
