Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling coating material which has high repelling activity to adhesion of a submarine living organism and can reduce a load to the environment. SOLUTION: The antifouling coating material contains an polymer particle obtained by carrying an antifungal organic component containing an atom selected from among hetero atoms (O, N and S) on a polymer particle with an antifungal metallic component carried thereon. The antifungal metallic component may be silver, platinum, copper, zinc, silicon or iron. The antifungal organic component may be an imidazole compound, a thiocarbamate compound, an organic acid compound, a thiazolone compound, a tropolone compound or pyridine-carboxylic acid or its derivatives (nicotinic acid or nicotinic acid amide). A resin may be used instead of the polymer particle.
