PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe of high commercial value with an excellent exterior and quality, whose fancy stitch on an outsole is hardly frayed, and whose outsole is in excellent adhesive properties, considering the art that; in the shoe having the sole whose outsole provided with the fancy stitch is integrally adhered to a bottom face section of a midsole, the fancy stitch is possible to be frayed when a length of a surplus thread is short at a start end portion and a terminal end portion, and adhesive properties of the outsole is deteriorated when the length of the surplus thread is made long to prevent the fancy stitch from fraying. SOLUTION: The shoe 1 of the present invention is characterized in that; in the shoe which is composed of the midsole 2 and the outsole 3 integrally adhered to a bottom face side of the midsole, the outsole 3 is provided with the fancy stitch 7 along a fringe section, a pair of grooves are formed for housing the surplus threads at the start end portion and the terminal end portion of the fancy stitch 7 at least on one side of contact faces between the midsole 2 and the outsole 3, and the outsole 2, the midsole 3 and a vamp cover 5 are integrated while the surplus threads are housed in the grooves.
