Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control deterioration of battery properties such as discharge capacity and high efficient discharge characteristics even when using regenerated active material, and to contribute to effective utilization of resources and an environmental problem by achieving profit of recycle and cost down of a electrode material. SOLUTION: A nickel electrode used in this alkali storage battery has positive electrode active material that contains a nickel hydroxide mixture as a main component, in which newly produced new nickel hydroxide and renewed nickel oxide that is regenerated from a waste alkali storage battery, a waste nickel electrode or an excess nickel slurry generated during production of the nickel electrode are mixed. Thus, the use of the positive electrode active material that contains the nickel hydroxide mixture as the main component, in which new nickel hydroxide and renewed nickel hydroxide are mixed, enable the cost down of the nickel electrode and the contribution to the effective utilization of resources and the environmental problem. |
