Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed type battery equipped with a battery header to which an electrode guide pin is attached via an insulating material, the battery being free from a short circuit caused by a contact between a tab connecting battery elements to the electrode guide pin and a battery can. SOLUTION: The closed type battery 1 is equipped with the battery header 7 formed by providing a battery terminal 6 having a polarity different from that of the battery can 2 via the insulating material. The tab 8 connected to the battery elements is joined to a joint comprising the metal plate of the battery header and the insulating member. A partition wall 12 formed by bending the insulating material attached to the metal plate of the battery header 6 is formed between the tab 8 connected to the battery elements and the interior wall surface of the battery can 2.
