OPTICAL DISK APPARATUS AND TRACKING CONTROL METHOD FOR OPTICAL DISK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus and a tracking control method for an optical disk, which can stably perform the tracking control even when the secular change or a temperature change of an optical pickup mechanism arises. SOLUTION: A system controller 19 stores mean tracking deviation information operated for one period in a memory 19A, according to angular position information of the optical disk D, on the basis of a tracking deviation signal from an A/D converter 18 and an angular position signal from a counter 20, and multiplies the value of the mean tracking deviation for one period by a prescribed constant. An adder 15 adds an output signal from a phase compensation circuit part 14 to a signal proportional to the mean tracking deviation for one period inputted through a D/A converter 21 with the synchronism with the angular position signal of the optical disk D, and outputs a signal of the added result.
