DEVICE FOR COLLATING FINGER-PRINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that contents of various finger-print processing informations are confirmed after an ID number is disclosed to other person, to allow even a finger-print other than an original user to be conformed easily with a registered finger-print data, and that safety is impaired thereby, because the finger-print processing information intrinsic to an individual person are used based on the ID number input from a ten-key, in a conventional finger-print collating device. SOLUTION: This collating device is provided with an ID card recorded with the registered finger-print data and the finger-print processing information intrinsic to the user, a finger-print inputting means for reading out a finger-print of the user, an input finger-print preparing means for preparing an input finger- print data based on the finger-print read by the finger-print inputting means, and a collation-determining means for collating the input finger-print data with the registered finger-print data recorded in the ID card to determine the propriety of the user itself. The finger-print inputting means, the input finger-print preparing means or the collation-determining means is regulated in response to the finger-print processing information recorded in the ID card.
