PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND USER PRESENTING METHOD ON PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device, which is easy for a user to use in mobile communication, in the individual operation modes of a PDA, and in switching its display panel, and to provide a user presenting method by the device. SOLUTION: A portable device 10 has a 1st display panel 12 of an LCD, a 2nd display panel 13 with an LCD screen which has a transparent contact sense type panel larger than the panel 12, and a movable protection cover 11 which coves the 2nd display panel 13. The protection cover 11 selectively overlays or exposes the display panels and is easily removed when necessary. The 1st display panel 12 displays the information contents of mobile communication (1st operation mode) and the 2nd display panel 13 displays the information contents of the PDA (2nd operation mode). The 1st display panel 12 is visible to a user in the closure position. The 2nd display panels 13 is visible to the user when the cover is flipped open to expose the 2nd display panel 13. The user can view the information contents of both panels 12 and 13 in the same direction at the same time.
