METHOD AND PROCESSOR FOR PROCESSING INFORMATION REGARDING PRIME NUMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a processor for information processing which decides whether a natural number (n) is a prime number. SOLUTION: The method and processor for information processing regarding prime numbers are characterized by (a) computing an equation (1) of (2 -2)/n=m1 by an arithmetic means; (b) computing an equation (2) ofn Cr /n= m2 , wheren Cr is an element of an equation (3) of (2 -2)=n C1 +n C2 +...n Cr +...n Cn-1 and r=1, 2,..., n/2 when (n) is even-numbered or r=1, 2,..., (n+1)/2 when odd-numbered, by an arithmetic means when m1 is an integer, and (c) deciding that (n) is a prime number and storing it in a prime number storage means when m2 is an integer.
