MONITORING SYSTEM FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system capable of always monitoring the inside of an elevator without requiring a troublesome work such as an installment of a cable or the like even when a requirement for monitoring the inside of the elevator and a landing for the elevator from the outside. SOLUTION: The monitoring camera having an image-photographing property and a transmitting means for transmitting a video signal of an image photographed by this monitoring camera by a radio. The monitoring system is provided with a monitoring center having a monitoring unit installed in the car of the elevator or the landing, a repeating installment provided in a mechanical chamber for the elevator and receiving and transmitting the video signal transmitted from a transmitting means of the monitoring unit and a monitor device for regenerating the video signal after the video signal transmitted from this repeating installment is received and capable of monitoring the circumstance of the inside of the car of the elevator and the landing; and a portable terminal for receiving and indicating the image regenerated in the monitor device of this monitoring center.
