Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutral start switch capable of downsizing a conventional neutral start switch and reducing man-hour and to provide a tool for positioning used in positioning thereof. SOLUTION: A turn shaft of a movable piece of the neutral start switch 1 is fitted into a manual shaft 4 of an automatic transmission. Furthermore, the tool 9 for positioning is fitted into the manual shaft 4 to fix it to the manual shaft 4 by a fixing screw 9f. Next, a case 2 of the switch 1 is rotated to fit a projecting part 7a of a water shut-off plate 7 between a pair of projections 9d and 9e of the tool 9 for positioning so that the case 2 is positioned to a normal position of the automatic transmission. A bolt is inserted into mounting holes 2e, 2f of the case 2 and is screw-fitted and tightened in the case of the automatic transmission so that the neutral start switch 1 is positioned and attached to a normal position of the automatic transmission.
