TELEPHONE SET WITH DIAL NUMBER SUPPLEMENT FUNCTION AND CALLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a nuisance involved in making an area code input mandatory in a portable telephone. SOLUTION: In this portable telephone with a number supplement function, a user does not have to re-enter a dial number and can also surely call even to the opposite party in the same city even when the user does not know that an area code has to be attached, because a call is made with the area code automatically attached (S220) in the case the area code is not included in an inputted dial number and the inputted dial number is not a special number due to insufficiency decision in steps S110 and S130 to S210. About a special number, since an area code is not attached (S120) even though the area code does not exist, the special number can be surely called and it never takes a long time in calling the special number.
