PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of an arc phenomenon caused in a conventional technology by providing a CNT-FED of a cathode substrate and an anode substrate. SOLUTION: This cathode substrate of a carbon nanotube(CNT) field remission display includes a glass substrate, a cathode layer patterned on the glass substrate, and patterning a surface of the cathode layer as mutually separate electron emitting areas, and a plurality of CNT structures respectively grown on a plurality of electron emitting areas.
