CONDUCTIVE BRUSH AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive brush used in an electrophotographic image forming device, which brush makes the potential of the electrified surface of a photoreceptor uniform, thereby preventing variation in electrification, when used as an electrifying brush, and exhibits stable performance when used for other purposes such as transfer, cleaning, discharge in the device. SOLUTION: Conductive thread composing a conductive brush has a multifoliate shape with a cross-section having at least three projections and recesses. The surfaces of at least the projections are non-conductive and at least parts of the surfaces of the recesses are conductive.
