Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic optical element in which deterioration of optical performance is prevented by making the electrification of a ridgeline difficult and thereby reducing adhesion of dust in air. SOLUTION: In a plastic lens 16 having at least one surface of an optical plane 4, the ridgeline between the optical plane 4 and a non-optical plane which is not optically used, is made into a convex curved surface having a curvature radius within the range of 0.5 mm to 20 mm, and the curved surface is provided outside the optical effective diameter of the optical plane.
