Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a non-heat treated forged workpiece provided with excellent proof stress and fatigue strength can be provided at a low cost by efficiently strengthening only a part requiring high level proof stress and fatigue strength without adding a large quantity of V, or the like, and newly increasing a reheating line, or the like. SOLUTION: Steel is hot-forged to obtain an intermediately forged workpiece having a ferritic-pearlitic structure. The part requiring high proof stress and high fatigue strength in the intermediately forged workpiece is further subjected to forging in the temperature region of the Ar1 point or lower to 200 deg.C in a cooling stage after the hot forging.
