Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickner for cement having segregation reducing effect for a coarse aggregate and the like by the use of a small quantity of the thickner and excellent water solubility and nearly free from the change of viscosity due to the change of temperature. SOLUTION: The thickner for cement has a urethane compound which has formula (1), (2) or (3) and of which the cloud point in 0.5 wt.% aqueous solution is 50-120 deg.C.
