Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an acceleration of icing between an atmospheric intake port and a filler of a cooling tower by improving a sprinkling apparatus. SOLUTION: The number of sprinkling holes 14a is more at an atmospheric intake unit 11 side of the cooling tower A and is less to a mixing chamber 13 side. As a result, a sprinkling amount of a circulating cooling water at the intake unit 11 side is more than that of the chamber 13 side. Thus, a temperature of the circulating cooling water in an overall area of a filling plate B becomes substantially constant. It can prevent the circulating cooling water at the intake unit 11 side from becoming supercooling in a severe winter or at a freely cooling time, and it prevents the intake unit 11 and between filling plates B at this die from being iced, to prevent them from being completely iced, thereby setting the circulating cooling water to a predetermined temperature to continuously operate the cooling tower A. |
