SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING ILLICIT SEATING IN RESERVED SEAT OF PASSENGER ROLLING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for preventing illicit seating capable of preventing the illicit seating in a passenger rolling stock or the like without performing circuit and ticket inspection or disturbing the free time of passengers and also responding to the case where a passenger who purchased a reversed seat ticket temporarily leaves the reserved seat by any reason in order to reduce the load of a cabin conductor. SOLUTION: Reserved seat release state data and the present traveling position data of a passenger rolling stock are read from a reservation center, and the two data are mutually compared. When a reserved seat of a section judged from the present traveling position is released, this seat is lowered to allow the seating. When the reserved seats is not released in this section, the seat is raised up to prohibit the seating. According to this, an illicit seating can be prevented.
