Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart sufficient rigidity to a bumper reinforcement against collisions in both off-set ends while keeping light weight of the bumper reinforcement, as to a bumper stay for supporting the bumper reinforcement in a front end of a side-member in a vehicle body. SOLUTION: The bumper stay 12 is provided with a bead 27 in its cylindrical part, a front side attaching plate 20 of the bumper stay 12 is extended slightly in a side of a body, a strut 28 is extended from the front side attaching plate 20 toward a curvedly bent end part 14-2, and an end part of the strut 28 is welded onto an upper face of the bumper stay 12 in a side-member 10 side with respect to the bead 27.
