Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate working machine of uniaxial work movement type and uniaxial working head movement type which is provided with a work positioning means capable of easily moving and positioning a work at high speed, and excellent in carry-in/carry-out property of a plate to a work table. SOLUTION: In the plate working machine of uniaxial work movement type and uniaxial working head movement type comprising a work table 3 for placing the work thereon and a working head 11 for working the work, a plurality of work positioning means 17 with no carriage on a side surface of the work table are provided movably in the work positioning axial direction orthogonal to the working head positioning axial direction, each work positioning means has a drive motor 21 for driving the work positioning means in the work positioning axial direction and a work clamp 19, and the work clamp is provided above a work carrying line in a retractable manner.
