Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working device having a high supporting rigidity of a guide rail for supporting an elevating base that slidingly moves in a vertical direction, i.e., a working device having superior durability of the entire device and excellent working accuracy. SOLUTION: In the device having the elevating base 20 to which rolls 60, 70, 80 for forming a workpiece 1 are mounted, the device is structured so that the guide members are the same in the number between those which supporting the elevating base to make it slidingly movable, receive a load by angular moment in one direction on the elevating base 20 during the working and those which receive a load by angular moment in other directions.
