PROLIFERATION OF SEAWEED AND METHOD FOR CREATING SEAWEED BED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create seaweed beds and proliferate seaweeds behind breakwaters or in areas (withered seashore) in which seaweeds can not propagate. SOLUTION: As a method for transplanting the seaweeds, a seed yarn in which young bodies of a large-sized seaweeds are previously planted is prepared and a rope or a net is twisted with the seed yarn and rubbles or mounds of the breakwater are covered with the rope or the net or silt ground is covered with the net and rubbles or mounds are installed on the sea bottom directly under the net to create the seaweed bed.
