Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device for an AC/DC conversion apparatus, which is not influenced by variation of AC voltage. SOLUTION: In the protection device for the AC/DC conversion apparatus, which outputs a protection signal for the conversion apparatus with an output of a detector which detects lowering of DC voltage of the conversion apparatus which converts AC power to DC power or DC power to AC power, the protection device of the AC/DC conversion apparatus which is free from mal-operation and mal-inaction due to variation of AC voltage is achieved, since the setting value of the detector which detects lowering of the DC voltage is corrected according to the difference between the AC voltage and the DC voltage upon detecting both quantities.
