Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt angle sensor which can be mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile, is tolerant of disturbance such as vibration and an external magnetic field, can be made small-sized, and further can precisely perform horizontal detection. SOLUTION: The tilt angle sensor has 1st and 2nd optical detecting elements 6 and 7 for angle detection arranged nearby the inner circumference of a pendulum 14 in an anchor shape corresponding to slit arrays 11a and 11b for angle detection, so that they are in the circumscribed circle of a pendulum 14 in an anchor shape. The sensor also has a 3rd optical detecting element 8 for horizontal position detection in surface-opposite arrangement on the circumference of the pendulum 14, thereby actualizing a small-sized structure.
