Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which saves electric power by improving the performance of a machine house condenser. SOLUTION: A machine house 1 is horizontally provided with a compressor 6 at one side thereof and the machine house condenser 8 at the other side. The condenser 8 is constituted of a cross-fin-tube type heat exchanger in which a refrigerant pipe 8b having a meandering form with a number of radiation fins 8a being juxtaposed thereon is provided. A machine house blower 70 is disposed so that the air in the machine house 1 is ventilated in the horizontal direction, and that the portion extending in the horizontal direction of the condenser 8 is rendered to horizontally go along the blower 70. Thus, a suction air duct is defined between the condenser 8 and the blower 70.
