EXCAVATOR AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING LIFT OF PROPULSIVE PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing lift of an excavator or a propulsive pipe in an intermediate shaft which is formed in the ground at a midpoint of a propulsive section, by a long-distance pipe jacking method. SOLUTION: According to the method for preventing lift of the excavator of the propulsive pipe which passes the interior of the intermediate shaft which is formed at the midpoint of the propulsive section during execution of pipe propulsion over a long distance, a propulsive stand and a fixed beam are installed in the intermediate shaft. The propulsive stand functions to hold the center and the level of the excavator and the propulsive pipe from below. The fixed beam functions to support the excavator and the propulsive pipe from above in a propelling direction or a direction orthogonal to the propelling direction.
