Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail member, which has a plurality of functions and is installed on the front end face of a shelf board for a storage shelf or the like having an open rack structure and by which a plurality of options such as a sliding door, or the like can be secured simply in response to an object on use, and an optional mounting device for the shelf using it. SOLUTION: The rail members 5 are set up along the front end faces 7 of the shelf boards 4, and various options for the shelf are fitted by utilizing the rail members. Long-sized profiles are used as the rail members, and a single number or a plurality of guide rails 8 are juxtaposed along upper-lower one side face sides while hanging rails 9 are formed along the front sides.
