Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen for seawater intake equipment having an electrochemical contamination preventing means in combination with electric anticorrosion for improving a contamination preventing effect and greatly prolonging an interval of removing work of attached shells and the like. SOLUTION: The surface of a screen structural body 1, through which the seawater passes, is covered with a conductive rubber panel 2 and connected to a direct-current power source 3 having a reference electrode and a potential controller so that the conductive panel is used as a positive electrode while the screen structural body is used as a negative electrode. The conductive rubber panel 2 is constructed by applying a conductive rubber lining 22 onto the front face of a base material 21 formed of a conductive material and applying an insulating anticorrosion lining 23 to the back face. Electric anticorrosion using a sacrificial anode 5 is used at the same time.
