Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data mapping method, with which odd and even number bits streams can be assigned to a subcarrier without expanding the scale of a system. SOLUTION: When assigning the bit stream of a length 2n-1 ((n) is an integer >=2), a bit stream excluding a most-significant bit from this bit stream is mapped as a bit stream of a length 2n-2 (step S2) and a prescribed arithmetic operation corresponding to the code of a coordinate value at a mapping position in the bit stream of the length 2n-1 is applied to the mapping position, where mapping is performed as a bit stream of 2n-2, so that the mapping position can be moved to the position in the bit stream of the length 2n-1 (steps S3-S8). Then, a bit stream, in which the excluded most-significant bit stream is '1', is assigned at a position provided as a result of this arithmetic operation. |
