ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER IMPROVED IN IMAGE QUALITY AND MELT FIXABILITY AND DEVELOPING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing system which not only is improved in image quality but has excellent melt fixability and a developing method. SOLUTION: This developing system includes a nonmagnetic cylindrical shell for supplying a developer between feeding and developing zones. This shell may be rotatable and may be fixed as well. Further, a rotary magnetic core of preselected magnetic field intensity and means for moving toner particles from the shell to an electrostatic image by rotating at least this magnetic core are provided as a portion of this developing system. The developing system includes a fuser roll coated with silicone rubber or another elastomer or resin of low surface energy. The fuser roll is preferably in pressure contact with a back up or pressure roll.
