DIGITAL SIGNAL MULTIPLEX TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE, AND MULTIPLEX TRANSMISSION DIGITAL SIGNAL RECEIVING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly conduct the multiplex transmission of multi-channel serial digital signals, restraining adverse effects caused by a mutual phase difference between the serial digital signals that are transmitted. SOLUTION: Six-channel 10 bit word strings, each having a word transmission rate of 27 MBps and six word clock signals, corresponding to the word strings, are obtained on the basis of a six-channel SDI video signals, each having a bit transmission rate of 270 Mbps. One of six word clock signals is made to serve as a reference word clock signal, the 10-bit word string data are each converted into the synchronously converted 10-bit word string data that are word-synchronized by the reference word clock signal, the synchronously converted 10-bit word string data are subjected to data multiplex processing, by which 20-bit word string data, having a word transmission rate of 108 MBps are obtained and converted to serial data, and the serial data are transmitted.
