Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave transmission system that is provided with a reflecting plate whose shape and size are equal to those of a 1st Fresnel zone so as to reduce the propagation loss of a radio wave, and to provide the reflecting plate used by the transmitter. SOLUTION: A reflecting plate 3 is installed at a place affording an unobstructed view from both a 1st base station antenna 1 and 2nd base station antenna 2, and the microwave transmission system makes microwave wireless communication by using microwave reflected in the reflecting plate 3 between a 1st base station and a 2nd bare station. The microwave transmission system is provided with the reflecting plate 3 with a radius r1 obtained by the following formula; r1 =√ λd1 d2 /(d1 +d2 )}, where d1 is the distance between the 1st base station antenna 1 and the reflecting plate 3, d2 is the distance between the 2nd base station antenna 2 and the reflecting plate 3, and λ is the wavelength of a transmitted microwave.
