PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-direction input device that outputs a plurality of electrical signals and realizes simply a high performance component, by making a scheme in the arrangement of the fixed contacts and the construction of the interlocking members and by moving the interlocking members to one side in one direction. SOLUTION: A plurality of fixed contacts A-D and a common contact E are provided on the insulating substrate 1, and at least one of the interlocking members 9 (11) of the first and second interlocking members 9, 11 comprises a first direction-detecting slider F and a common sliding unit J that are conducted mutually, and the common sliding unit J contacts a common contact E and moves the interlocking member 9, (11) in plural positions in the first or second direction; thereby, the first direction-detecting slider F contacts the plural fixed contacts A-D at each position, and the fixed contacts A-D and the common contact E are conducted, and the plural electric signals are outputted.
