Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where an original can be surely set at an intended position, so that a failure caused by the positional deviation and the inclination of the original is prevented. SOLUTION: This image forming device forming image based on information recorded on the original F is equipped with a read part 1 reading the information recorded on the original F by an optical means, an image forming main body part 2 forming the image based on the information read by the read part 1, a transparent original supporting plate 3 on which the original F is placed and which is provided above the read part 1, a light shielding body 4 provided to cover all the surface of the supporting plate 3, and a transparent original cover member 5 provided to cover the original F placed on the supporting plate 3 under the shielding body 4.
