Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module in which an optical fiber is stored in a housing without being bent to less than a specific radius of curvature so as to suppress the transmission loss of the optical fiber low and its breakage is prevented and with which a device, such as an optical amplifying device, incorporating the module is made small-sized. SOLUTION: The optical module A is constituted by putting optical elements including at least optical fibers 18c to 18f, and 15 in the housing 100 and the housing 100 has a circumferential surface part 113a formed facing outward in the housing 100, an annular element storage part 130 constituted surrounding the circumferential surface part 113a, and a through hole 101 formed inside the circumferential surface part 113a; and the optical fibers 18c and 18d, and 15 are provided in the element storage part 130 along the circumferential surface part 113a and the minimum radius of curvature of the circumferential surface part 113a is so set as to deter the optical fibers 18c and 18d, and 15 from bending to deform to less than the specific radius of curvature. |
