METHOD OF MONITORING ENGINE PERFORMANCE, ITS SYSTEM AND PROGRAM RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system 10 for monitoring the engine perfor mance on the basis of a temperature condition in gas turbine engines 12, 13. SOLUTION: The data relating to the operation and performance of the gas turbine engines 12, 13 are detected by using a plurality of sensors 20, 21. The data parameter selected from the detected data is continuously sampled prior to the completion of engine starting sequence. Then the selected data parameter is evaluated to determine whether specific criteria has been met or not, and the evaluation data is complemented whenever the criteria are met (108, 110). The evaluation data is used for normalizing the engine performance data to a specific temperature condition of the engine (114). A tendency is monitored by comparing the normalized engine performance data with a parameter reference line of the gas turbine engines 12, 13 (116).
