Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an aqueous dispersion as a water/oil repellent being an aqueously dispersed water/oil-repellent composition being easily treated and highly safe and exhibiting an excellent water/oil repellent effect in spite of its low fluorine content and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing an aqueously dispersed water/oil repellent containing a polymer (X) containing e.g. a polyfluoroalkyl group on each terminal by performing emulsion polymerization in the presence of (A) an acyl peroxide having e.g. a polyfluoroalkyl group on each terminal, represented by the formula: RfC(=)OOC(=O)Rf (wherein Rf is a polyfluoroalkyl group or a polyfluorocycloalkyl group).
