CUTTING WORK METHOD FOR PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting work method for a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet which can prevent extrusion of a pressure sensitive adhesive agent even with small anchoring force relating to a base material of a pressure sensitive adhesive layer. SOLUTION: This cutting work method for a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet is a work method cutting the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet having a pressure sensitive adhesive layer of 7.0 N/20 mm or less anchoring force in at least one surface of a base material, and the method is characterized by performing cutting work after pressing operation is performed to a location including a cut part of the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet. The pressing operation may be pressing operation by hand tooling. After the pressing operation is performed so as to apply a pressure from a base material side to the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, it is preferable to perform cutting work by cutting from the base material side. Pressing force at pressing operation time may be 1.0×10 to 1.0×10 Pa. The cutting work is preferably punching work, and in the case of protecting the pressure sensitive adhesive layer by a separator, for instance, the punching work can be performed by cutting the base material and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer from the base material side so as to prevent cutting of this separator.
