CONTINUOUS CASTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous caster which easily changes either type between both types of a bending type and a vertical bending type while keeping roll segment almost as it is, and can easily change types in a short time because of change of the ordinary cast slab size according to change-over of casting kinds or the range of or the increase in a little changing range of mold supporting rolls frequently changed by wearing the facility. SOLUTION: In the continuous caster formed of the vertical part and the bending part with guide roll group below a mold, this caster has a structure, in which the bending part is started with a radius having not less than the basic casting radius below the vertical part and bent till becoming a radius having not higher than the basic casting radius and also, unbent till becoming a radius having not less than the basic casting radius in the bending part and thereafter, bent till becoming a radius having the basic casting radius.
