Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact grinder which can suppress of coarse particles of certain grain sizes. SOLUTION: The impact grinder has a box-shaped casing 3 at an upper part of which a charging port 1 is provided and at a lower part of which a discharging port 3 is provided, a rotor 5 which is horizontally installed in the casing and to which a large number of hammers 4 are attached outside by a hinge and a grinding plate 5 which is arranged at a side of the rotor and is curvedly formed by making a surface facing the rotor recessed. In this impact grinder, a part of the rotor side from the grinding plate in an inner flank of the casing facing the end face of the rotor is provided projectingly inward form an end face 6a of the grinding plate.
