PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk stamper inspecting device which can inspect a stamper at a high speed and is actualized with simple constitution. SOLUTION: Prior to the inspection of the stamper, the offset of a tracking servo signal obtained by a tracking server is detected and stored in a memory 312 while made to correspond to the detected position of the stamper. When the stamper is inspected, a compensating circuit 302 inverts and adds the offset stored in the memory 312 to the tracking servo signal to generate a compensation signal. The generated compensation signal is inputted to an actuator coil 304 which drives an optical pickup.
