CAGE-TYPE MULTISTORY PARKING STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage-type multistory parking station which ensures desired smoothness as a function thereof, and can suppress the height of each parking floor, to thereby increase the number of vehicles stored therein. SOLUTION: Acording to the cage-type multistory parking station, radially spreading parking floors 3 are arranged about a vertical passage 5 in which a vehicle mounting cage 7 is elevated and rotated, in multiple stories in the vertical direction, and vehicle loading/unloading floors 2, 2a are arranged on both sides of the vertically moving passage 5 at a height different from the heights of the parking floors 3. Then, two loading/unloading-side trays 8 for mounting a vehicle 4 thereon and moving between the vehicle mounting cage 7 and the vehicle loading/unloading floors 2, 2a are provided in the cage 7, and parking floor-side trays 16 for mounting the vehicles 4 thereon and moving between the respective parking floors 3 and the vehicle mounting cage 7 are provide on the respective parking floors 3. Therefore, when the loading/unloading- side tray 8 mounted in the vehicle mounting cage 7 is elevated, the vehicle 4 mounted on the parking floor-side tray 16 is moved onto the loading/unloading-side tray 8, and when the loading/unloading-side tray 8 is lowered, the vehicle 4 mounted on the loading/unloading-side tray 8 is moved onto the parking-floor side tray 16.
